Share your best hacks for securing lightweight graveyard foam and tall skeletons against October storms. What’s your go-to method for keeping the yard from blowing away?

Try using sandbags or weighted bases for your skeletons and foam pieces. They add a touch of eerie realism while keeping everything firmly planted!

Landscaping stakes. Wooden dowels. These are my 2 main go tos for securing my decorations. Have never had anything blow away. Even in bad storms.

I always think about how trees hold fast against the strongest gales, their roots deep in the soil. For anything I want to stay put, I try to root it down as much as possible, as if it's growing there naturally. 🎃

I'm going to try my hand at making tombstones this year and this had come to mind. I bought the cheap ones prior and the anchor system just didn't hold up at all. Nice tips here.
