What scents does everyone like for Fall/Halloween?
I make wax melts and would love some ideas on what everyone loves as far as smells go for our favorite time of the year! 🖤✨

💚💜GHOST WITH THE MOST
fig • brown sugar • patchouli

Definitely need something that smells like a mix of chocolate bars and candy corn, maybe a hint of plastic pumpkin! That's the real smell of Halloween night 🎃.

I love a blend of pumpkin spice with a touch of smoky cedar, it really gives off that cozy autumn vibe while staying delightfully eerie. Also, anything with notes of burnt sugar feels like Halloween to me! 🎃

Those would be a great combo, I'll blend those, see how they smell together, and come up with a name for that - sounds haunting and I'm here for it! 🎃

Oooh wow I think the 'Monster Mash' is my scent! Cinnamon, cherry, petrichor, ... love those!
@DarkwoodLeif smokey cedar, that's the smell of the end of summer, a perfect autumn vibe

I'm a bit basic. I love Pumpkin spice and apple cinnamon.

For the ones you listed I like Monster Mash, Spirits in the attic, Poison Apple, and Campfire stories.

I think something with petrichor, apple, pumpkin, and cinnamon would be nice. I think petrichor doesn't just make people think of rain but it also makes people think of dried leaves in damp soil.

Oh, my, this forum is really starting to feel like home.

Black tea is another scent I'd associate with autumn.

Anything pumpkin, apple, or maple.

I live in walking distance of Hadley New York, which has an annual Maple festival... actually this weekend. It's like a small carnival or street fair and everything is maple themed.

Can't go wrong with the basic seasonal scents, those are always a staple for sure!

That's exactly what petrichor makes me think of - dried leaves and damp soil, it's one that gives me a spooky rainy graveyard vibe! I'm making a note of that combo you listed so I can try a blend of those and see how it smells, it sounds like it would smell perfect for the season for sure.. it's giving thoughts of an episode of Supernatural, the one called "Scarecrow", just the town they're in makes me think it would be giving hints of that scent combo!

I didn't even think of Black Tea for an Autumn scent, but that would be perfect as well!!

Also, jealous of the Maple Fest near you, that sounds like something I'd love to attend!

Those are def good scents for the season! My "Hocus Pocus" melt has a couple of those together but missing the apple scent.. I'll have to make a blend of them all and see how it smells!

That's so sweet, thank you, I appreciate that! 💚 I did/do sell online but I recently put a pause on my website and closed it for a bit - my dad just passed away a month ago today and I've been having a difficult time handling it (we were close) and my early-alzheimer's mom lives here with us now so I've been super busy with cremation stuff, death things, dr appts for my mom, on top of the everyday things I already had before (homeschool both of my kids, small business stuff, cleaning, and the other regular daily things)... BUT, I'm getting close to being able to open shop again, though! Right now, I have my website url going to my fb page but once I open my website again here soon, within the next month or so (probably around my birthday which is May 31st), I'll have the url going to that once again and will post about it on my fb page!
