The now classic Halloween horror anthology Trick 'r Treat has a few tie-in comics. I only relatively recently read Trick 'r Treat: Days of the Dead.
It's really good. In fact I truly love the story called Monster Mash. It's now my second favorite horror short story (after Box Number 50 by Fred Saberhagen).
In the story a little boy chooses to become the creature he's dressed as for Halloween and he joins the denizens of Halloween forever. The story happens to be called Monster mash.
