In Farmingdale on Long Island, New York, there is a year 'round Halloween themed restaurant called the Haunted House of Hamburgers. It's doing really well. You can tell it's a converted old Friendly's restaurant. And I'm pretty sure that's a Home Depot twelve foot werewolf out front.

It's always fascinating to see if a place can truly manifest a spooky ambiance, or if the decor just scratches the surface. Sometimes the land itself has stories, or the constant focus on the macabre starts to draw in something real.
