This might have at least partially been covered in another thread or two (including talking about summerween), but ...

Just for the funs of it, what's your favorite Halloween song?

I'm talking about something that maybe isn't a standard, always played at Halloween song, like Monster Mash or Werewolves of London (don't get me wrong; i still love the oldies but reliable goodies like Monster Mash and werewolves of London).

For example, for me, one of my favorite Halloween songs is The Automatics' "Monster (what's that coming over the hill). A couple others include Oingo Boingo's "Dead man's party" and The Ramones' (I don't wanna be buried, in a) Pet Cemetery.

What you got to go along with these?

This is Halloween. But I really like the seldom heard demo version because it's sung by Danny Elfman, himself, so it sounds like Jack Skellington, himself, is giving you a tour of Halloween Town.

That and Dead Man's Party by Oingo Boingo. I love that song.

Yes, I love the classics like Monster Mash and Ghostbusters, and Thriller, as well. But for me it's This is Halloween and Dead Man's Party.

Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus. It sets the perfect tone for a moonlit graveyard stroll, far better than any novelty tune.

There's a sequel song, I only recently heard it and I highly recommend it. I actually like it more than the original. It's called Bela Lugosi's back by Lesbian Bed Death.

Those you listed, @Spook-tagon_Hall, are some of my faves as well along with the one @BaneCurtis has mentioned!
I also really love Killer Klowns by The Dickies, it's a fun one, as well as He's Back the Man Behind the Mask by Alice Cooper! 🤡:hockey:

This is mine - I still have the original tape to this day. The tape was included with the book "How to Haunt a House" which I convinced my grandmother to get for me when I was about 9. I think my parents threw away the book because soon after I couldn't find it, however I was able to find someone selling it on eBay so I just had to pick it up. I remember listening to it in the car over and over again.

@Deb , I definitely was thinking of it. I have the soundtrack on vinyl and it's the best way to listen to it on a crisp fall day while enjoying a PSL!
