Bucket of Blood...anyone see this?

So I'm watching some Elvira Movie Macabre...watched bucket of Blood last night...spoiler alert....where was the bucket of blood? Did I run to bathroom and miss that scene? There is a song that plays here on Oldies channel called Bucket of Blood... Seems completely unrelated? Anyone have any insight on the movie?💀

Nope no bucket missed from what I recall Deb. It's a Corman film from the age of hype and gimmicks, none of the latter so I guess he's working on the first. The movie poster has a bucket and blood but also humorous cartoons.

Since it's a comedy and poking fun at beatnik/coffee house/artsy culture. Perhaps the title is best thought of as if you donned your best sweater/capris/beret and sunglasses outfit an you step on stage at said coffee house to read your new poem 'Truth'.. you then speak.. "We are all but buckets of blood..

You then leave the stage to round of snapping fingers and everyone talking about how deep an philosophical that was.

@BigPenguin...I'm giggling reading your reply...the snapping fingers...I think best part is when he pulls the dead cat out of the wall after he accidentally stabs it and its stiff as a board! I love the old stuff! Hope your enjoying the best time of the year 👻. What's your favorite old classic spooky movie?

I am indeed enjoying the arrival of spooky season. I always found the beret wearing artist trope funny in the film, a classic that works in everything from cartoons to Jack Nicholsons joker.

I too love the old classics, so many to choose films to chose from... Universal Monsters, Hammer Horror, Toho terrors....I'd say though my favorite is Night of The Living Dead. The first movie that accurately shows that terrifying junk drawer that everyones home has with all the odds and ends you'd ever need but you've forgotten where you put them...
