🎃 2026 Yard Haunt Planning Thread 🎃
I know it's only June, but for a lot of us, Halloween season starts now!
I'm curious what everyone is planning for their 2026 yard haunts:
👻 What's your theme this year?
🏚️ Are you building anything new?
💀 Any props you're retiring or upgrading?
🎭 What effect or scene are you most excited about?
💰 Are you working with a budget or going all-out?
🛠️ Have you started building yet, or are you still in the brainstorming stage?
I'd also love to hear:
• What's one thing that worked really well in 2025?
• What's one thing you're changing because it didn't work?
• What's the "showpiece" of your haunt this year?
Bonus points for concept sketches, progress photos, CAD drawings, prop builds, shopping lists, or inspiration photos!
I'm always amazed by the creativity of the halloween community, and seeing everyone's ideas often sparks new ideas for my own haunt.
