I learned a lovely new word today. It's the word for that field of study I was already familiar with but did not have a proper name for- that grey area where parapsychology and cryptozoology overlap.
But... Google's AI overview is confusing me. I wanted to know if Para-cryptozoology was more accepted as a way to write it or Paracryptozoology.
So I googled...
It said Paracryptozoology is the more accepted term.
Okay.
And just to be thorough I googled again but this time replaced Paracryptozoology with Paracryptozoologist.
This time it said the more accepted spelling is with the hyphen. Para-Cryptozoologist. So which is it?
Is it "Paracryptozoology" but when it's "ist' it's "Para-cryptozoologist?" And if so, why?
