About The Killer Wails

“Halloween VI” was born on Halloween night when members of Toronto punk band The Killer Wails watched Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers above the Smiling Buddha bar. Ben McGillis played a riff through the movie, and by the time Paul Rudd faced Michael Myers, Tyler Brown had the chorus hook. Heavily influenced by the Misfits, the band turned the night into a loud punk-rock tribute to Halloween’s strangest sequel.
