About Static South

“Hurry October” by Static South is a spooky, theatrical love song inspired by a poem written for my wife, Leafy, years ago. Blending dark romance, Halloween magic, and the playful madness of Danny Elfman and Oingo Boingo, the song celebrates the anticipation of our favorite time of year. With haunting melodies and cascading choruses, it's a love letter to October, when the strange, the beautiful, and the macabre come alive.
