About R-JAYE

R-Jaye is a Dutch singer-songwriter and performer creating theatrical electropop with a dark edge. I wrote “The Monster of My Mind” exactly two years before filming its music video. Inspired by my own experiences with sleep paralysis, the song grew into a story about fear, insecurity and becoming your own worst critic. Fittingly, it will finally be released on Halloween — October 31st.
