"Samhain" is an atmospheric folk single from Scottish-born artist Christine Weir, exploring the ancient Celtic festival where summer ends, winter rises, and the veil between worlds thins. Centred on the tradition of seeking ancestral intercession, the song opens with the sacred invocation 'Awen' (“we open ourselves to spirit”), recorded in a vocal arrangement with her son and late brother. Deeply personal and rich in heritage, it is a tribute to lineage and Celtic spirit.
